Max Loss Counter

Automatically cuts copytrading on a rugger after a set number of consecutive losses. Prevents you from continuing to lose on a rugger that has deteriorated.

How it works

The system counts losing sells. When the counter reaches the threshold you set, auto-buy is paused. Your open positions remain intact — only new copytrades are blocked.

The count is done on the root, not on each child. When Rugger Protection adds child addresses from a rugger, the losses are added up on the parent rugger (root), never separately child by child. When that total reaches the max, auto-buy is paused for the entire chain — the parent and all its children at once.

The counter resets to zero as soon as a sale is profitable, on any child in the chain. A win somewhere in the family resets the entire root to zero. Only a real accumulated losing streak gets you cut off.

You receive a notification when the threshold is hit, and the rugger switches to status PAUSED. You can reactivate it manually whenever you want.

Configuration

Per rugger, in Per Rugger Config → Max Loss Counter :

Max Losses:   10   (default — configurable from 1 to 20)
Action:       Pause auto-buy on the entire chain

Setting :

• Max Losses — threshold of accumulated losses on the root before triggering (default 10, from 1 to 20)

The ideal threshold depends on how aggressive the rugger is. For a rugger that scalps with a 30-40% win rate, set it wider (5-7). For a rugger that should have a high win rate, set it tighter (2-3).

Use case

Many ruggers go through hot streaks and then cool off. Instead of having to manually monitor their performance, the system cuts the losses for you. You come back, check whether the rugger has recovered or remove it entirely.

Max Consecutive Losses: 3 + "Rugger Auto-Disabled" notification ON

You immediately know when a rugger dies off; you can decide to purge it or put it under observation. Especially powerful if you trade 20+ ruggers in parallel — impossible to monitor everything by eye.
