Max Loss Counter
Automatically cuts copytrade on a rugger after a defined number of consecutive losses. Avoids continuing to lose on a rugger that has deteriorated.
How it works
The system counts consecutive losing positions on each rugger. When the counter reaches the threshold you set, auto-buy is disabled on that specific rugger. Your open positions remain intact — only new copytrades are blocked.
The counter resets to zero as soon as a position is winning. So a sequence of 3 losses → 1 win → 3 losses does not trigger the threshold of 5 consecutive losses. It’s only a true losing streak that gets you out.
You receive a notification when the threshold is hit, and the rugger moves to status PAUSED. You can reactivate it manually whenever you want.
Configuration
Per rugger, in Per Rugger Config → Max Loss Counter :
Max Consecutive Losses: 3
Action: Auto-disable copytradeSetting :
- Max Consecutive Losses — consecutive-loss threshold before triggering (e.g. 3, 5, 10)
The ideal threshold depends on the aggressiveness of the rugger. For a rugger that scalps with a 30-40% win rate, set it wider (5-7). For a rugger that should have a high win rate, set it tighter (2-3).
Use case
Many ruggers have hot streaks and then cool off. Instead of having to manually monitor their performance, the system cuts the loss for you. You come back, check whether the rugger has recovered or remove it entirely.
💡 Recommended combo
Max Consecutive Losses: 3 + Notification "Rugger Auto-Disabled" ON
You immediately know when a rugger shuts down, and you can decide to purge it or put it under observation. Especially powerful if you trade 20+ ruggers in parallel — impossible to monitor everything by eye.
